Returning for its third year on May 18th and 19th is the Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center (39707 Big Bear Blvd). This is just too much fun. The events include panel discussions with the film makers and past years have seen some famous actors showing up as well. All quilts in the show are made by our local guild members. A variety of quilting techniques are displayed on the quilts, and many items are for sale. Proceeds support community groups.

Moonridge Animal Park is hosting an Ice Cream Safari on Saturday September 1, starting at 11AM and lasting until the ice cream is all gone.
